Если маркировка кабеля содержит букву «н» (КГн), то это означает, что изделие имеет дополнительное резиновое маслостойкое покрытие, которое не распространяет горение. Встречаются также названия КГ-Т и КГ-ХЛ, они расшифровываются следующим образом:
КГ-Т – это изделие, которое может использоваться в условиях тропического климата. Минимальная допустимая температура его эксплуатации составляет -10 градусов по Цельсию, а максимальная +55.
КГ-ХЛ – продукт, предназначенный для использования в северных широтах. Он отличается устойчивостью к холоду, допустимая температура использования – от -60 до +50.
Таким образом, кабель КГ в различных модификациях может прокладываться практически во всех регионах РФ.
Сферы применения
Кабель силовой гибкий предназначен для подключения мощных передвижных механизмов (в том числе погружных насосов, сварочных аппаратов, кранов) к электрической сети. Данный проводник можно прокладывать в закрытых помещениях и на улице. Часто его используют для изготовления удлинителей, предназначенных для эксплуатации на открытом воздухе.
Но при этом провод не используется для подключения стационарных установок и не прокладывается под землёй. Такие ограничения объясняются тем, что изоляция проводника не способна выдерживать серьезные механические нагрузки и может быть повреждена под давлением грунта.
Конструктивные особенности проводника
Данный провод имеет следующую конструкцию:
Токопроводящая жила из меди в кабеле КГ – это основной элемент конструкции. Жилы электропроводника отличаются многопроволочной структурой. Гибкость луженой жилы соответствует классу 5 согласно ГОСТ 22483. На рынке представлены кабели с числом жил от 1 до 5. При этом сечение жилы варьируется от 1 до 240 мм2.
Каждая жила покрыта изоляционным слоем, изготовленным из резины типа РТИ-1 или РТИ-2-ХЛ. Между жилой и изоляцией располагается разделительный слой из синтетического материала или талька. Этот слой нужен для того, чтобы разогревшийся в процессе использования медный проводник не прилипал к изоляции. Маркировка изоляции соответствуют международным стандартам. Так, заземляющая жила покрыта желто-зеленой оболочкой, нулевая – синей или голубой, а фазная – белой, серой, черной, фиолетовой, коричневой, розовой, красной или оранжевой.
Сверху кабель КГ покрывается наружной оболочкой, которая изготавливается из резины марки РШТ-2 или РШТМ-2. У одножильных проводников покрытие состоит из одного слоя, изготовленного из резины типа РТИШ. Между изоляциями жил и внешней оболочкой также присутствует разделительный слой.
Диаметр кабеля КГ определяет ту мощность, которую способен выдержать данный проводник. Важен не общий диаметр электрокабеля, а размер сечения (площадь) входящих в него жил. В одножильном изделии сечение составляет 2,5- 50 мм2, в двух- и трехжильном – 1-150, четырехжильном – 1-95, пятижильном – 1-25.
Следует помнить, что заземляющая жила в кабельной продукции марки КГ на один порядок тоньше, чем фазная. Например, если толщина фазной жилы составляет 6 мм2, то заземляющей – 4. Но при этом у электрокабеля сечением 1-1,5 заземляющая жила имеет такое же сечение, как и фаза.
Вес кабеля КГ учитывается при укладывании проводника по различным поверхностям. Он исчисляется в килограммах и зависит от количества и номинального сечения жил. Так, масса кабеля КГ 1х2,5 составляет 80 кг, 3х2,5 – 230, 5х2,5 – 350 и так далее. Наибольшим весом отличается изделие 5х120 – 9360 кг.

Срок службы кабеля составляет 4 года, а гарантийный срок его использования – 6 месяцев.
Эти характеристики кабеля КГ в сочетании с доступной стоимостью делают его оптимальным вариантом для питания оборудования с высокой мощностью. Кроме того, он может использоваться для подключения устройств и механизмов, подверженных длительным и сильным вибрациям.
Особенности монтажа электрокабеля в различных условиях
Кабель КГ можно прокладывать на открытом воздухе без дополнительной защиты, если исключается возможность его механических повреждений. При этом укладка должна выполняться квалифицированными специалистами, у которых есть допуск к выполнению подобных работ. Также электропроводник можно монтировать на тросах и эстакадах. Работы должны выполняться с учетом особенностей местности, чтобы не допустить обрывов кабеля и поражения людей током.
Если нужно защитить проводник от нарушения изоляции в агрессивной среде или от механических повреждений на незащищенных монтажных участках, то изделие помещается в трубы, изготовленные из поливинилхлорида, керамики, стали или асбестоцемента. Диаметр трубы должен превышать диаметр электрокабеля в 2,5 фраза.
Если провод нужно проложить в производственных помещениях с сухой или агрессивной влажной средой, то выполняется прокладка на лотках. Такой метод применяется только если сечение электропроводника составляет менее 16 мм2. Монтаж лотка на поверхностях и перекрытиях осуществляется в соответствии с нормативными требованиями. КГ укладывается одним слоем, с промежутками, которые равны ширине лотка.
Кабель данной марки не прокладывается под землёй. Исключением является ситуация, когда проводник помещается в защитную трубу. Без достаточной защиты электрокабель может повреждаться твёрдым грунтом, строительным мусором или людьми при проведении земляных работ.
