Линолеум без сомнения является наиболее популярным покрытием для пола дома или квартиры. Благодаря высоким показателям прочности и износостойкости, он востребован при отделке жилых и производственных помещений. Настил линолеума своими руками можно выполнить не имея специальных навыков в строительстве. Для этого необходимо подробно изучить как сам процесс укладки покрытия, так и варианты его закрепления.
Основанием для укладки материала служит бетонный или деревянный пол. Настил линолеума на старое покрытие не допустим. Поэтому, прежде чем начинать работы по укладке, необходимо осуществить демонтаж старого покрытия.
Подготовка бетонного основания
Поверхность пола нужно тщательно и правильно подготовить: убрать остатки старого покрытия, заделать щели и повреждения. Выступы и выбоины не должны превышать 1-2 мм, а допустимые перепады высоты на метр пола должны быть менее 2-х мм. Если эти требования не выполняются, необходимо выполнить бетонную стяжку или самовыравнивающиеся наливные полы.
При укладке обычного линолеума на бетонное основание, пол получается слишком холодным. Поэтому в данном случае целесообразно присматривать покрытие среди моделей с теплоизоляционной подложкой.
Однако для жилого дома или обычной квартиры этого может быть недостаточно. Тогда на бетонное основание рекомендуют положить вначале листовой материал (ДСП или фанеру) и только затем линолеум.
Прежде, чем уложить листовой материал на основание из бетона, с помощью полиэтиленовой пленки толщиной 200 мкм делают его гидроизоляцию. Пленку распределяют по поверхности пола внахлест( 20 см) и с заходом на стены (4 — 5 см). При установке плинтуса излишки пленки обрезают.
Подготовка деревянных полов
Если нужно уложить покрытие на деревянный пол, его хорошо осматривают и при надобности реставрируют. Для этого старую краску снимают, поверхность пола выравнивают шлифмашинкой для устранения неровностей и перепадов более 1 мм. Затем поступают двумя способами:
- шпаклюют стыки досок;
- укладывают листы ДСП, фанеры.
Второй вариант предпочтительнее, так как в результате получают однородную основу, которая больше подходит для настила линолеума. В данном случае гидроизоляция не требуется, более того — она противопоказана.
Чтобы избежать скрипа между листами фанеры, ДСП, нужно оставлять зазор 0,5 — 1 мм, а по периметру проложить амортизирующую демпферную ленту.
Вся поверхность обязательно грунтуется. Далее приступают к раскрою и укладке линолеума.
Укладка линолеума
Перед укладкой, покрытие необходимо подготовить. В течении суток рулон линолеума адаптируется с условиями помещения. Затем его можно развернуть и приступать к раскрою. Производители рекомендуют при раскрое материала оставлять 2-6 см на усадку. Также желательно учесть естественные источники освещения. Если не представляется возможным уложить линолеум одним куском, то стыковочные швы должны быть перпендикулярны наружной стене помещения.
Обрезку излишков производят массивными ножницами либо прибегают к помощи строительного ножа и металлической линейки.
Необходимо следить, чтобы рисунок был параллелен стенам, а не смещен в сторону одной из стен. Здесь лучше полагаться на свой глазомер, чем пытаться выровнять имеющийся рисунок по какой либо стене.
Теперь требуется обрезать все излишки, причем начинать лучше с больших ненужных кусков. Не следует пытаться сразу получить чистовой вариант. Лучше отрезать, имея остаток материала не более 3-х сантиметров. На следующем этапе в углах линолеум складывают и подводят к углу. На обратной стороне отмечают точку прилегания материала к стене, а затем от края покрытия до точки делают надрез. Теперь линолеум плотно уложен с заходами на стены.
После делают чистовую обрезку. Если необходимо уложить несколько полос линолеума, действуют следующим образом. Сначала укладывают и закрепляют двухсторонним скотчем по краю который ближе к центру помещения одну полосу. Далее полосу обрезают по стене, оставляя необходимый запас. Затем прикладывают вторую полосу, совмещая рисунок. После того, как рисунок совпал, ее также закрепляют двухсторонним скотчем и обрезают, давая запас по стене. Теперь можно убрать все запасы и получить требуемую форму линолеума, но при этом учесть тепловые зазоры.
Способы закрепления покрытия
Когда покрытие приобретено и уложено одним куском, клей можно не использовать. Подобный случай предусматривает стандартное прижимание материала к полу по периметру плинтусами и порожками дверного проема.
Если стоит задача совместить несколько частей линолеума или в помещении предполагается наличие больших нагрузка на пол, прибегают к помощи специального клея или двухстороннего скотча. Причем клей наносят на всю площадь покрытия, а скотч — на его периметр.
Клей рекомендуется наносить отдельными участками.
Для этого необходимо:
- Отогнуть линолеум и нанести клей на пол;
- Равномерно распределить клей по поверхности, прибегнув к помощи широкого шпателя;
- Отогнуть линолеум обратно;
- Пройтись валиком по приклеиваемой части материала от центра к краю.
Таким образом последовательно приклеивают все части покрытия. Время высыхания клея указано в инструкции. После этого можно пользоваться покрытием.
Заключительный этап
Установить плинтуса и дверные порожки самостоятельно также не представит большого труда. Плинтус прикрепляют к стенам помещения по всему периметру. Плинтуса могут быть деревянные или пластиковые. Пластиковые целесообразно использовать при недостаточно ровных стенах или если необходимо спрятать в них проводку. Порожки с помощью саморезов крепят к краю уложенного материала, заходящего на проем двери.
Уход за линолеумом
Линолеум требует бережного обращения, поскольку его поверхность чувствительна к химическим и механическим воздействиям. Не стоит двигать по нему тяжелую мебель, способную поцарапать покрытие, и ходить на каблуках со шпилькой.
Для мытья такого пола нельзя применять порошки, содержащие соду и абразивные вещества. Будет неплохо смазывать линолеум пару раз в год льняным маслом или раз в пол года натирать натуральной олифой.
