Интересная наружная лестница, является ли она элементом входной группы в дом, соединяет ли этажи здания, выполняет ли технические вспомогательные функции или объединяет в единое целое многоуровневый ландшафт участка, в умелых руках может превратиться в истинное произведение искусства и стать эффектным украшением экстерьера дома и всего приусадебного участка. В то же время это сложная архитектурно-инженерная конструкция, в которой должны гармонично сочетаться несколько трудно совместимых характеристик:
- надежность;
- безопасность;
- удобство пользования;
- грамотная привязка к основным несущим конструкциям здания или ландшафту участка.
Различают несколько видов наружных лестниц в зависимости от размеров, форм основных архитектурных элементов и технических особенностей крепления к несущим конструкциям.
По количеству и очертаниям маршей внешние лестницы бывают:
- одномаршевые;
- двухмаршевые;
- многомаршевые;
- прямолинейные;
- криволинейные.
В зависимости от формы лестничной площадки ведущая в дом лестница может быть:
- квадратная или прямоугольная;
- полукруглая;
- овальная;
- граненная:
- криволинейная.
По расположению относительно фасада и входной двери различают следующие виды лестниц:
- профильные, расположенные параллельно фасаду;
- фронтальные, расположенные перпендикулярно фасаду;
- фронтально-профильные.
Наружная лестница как архитектурное сооружение
Независимо от того, возводится ли фешенебельная фасадная или скромная техническая металлическая наружная лестница, кроме декоративных архитектурно-художественных требований, она должна соответствовать техническим нормам, быть удобной и безопасной в эксплуатации.
Строить крыльцо можно одновременно с возведением дома, но можно пристроить и после завершения основных строительных работ. Если парадный вход в здание расположен на северной стороне дома, то входную лестницу слишком большой не делают, а с южной стороны сооружают открытую террасу с широкой лестницей. Технические наружные лестницы, выполняющие не столько декоративную, сколько утилитарную функцию, обычно располагают в тыльной части дома, но стараются их выдержать в едином с домом и ландшафтом сада или участка архитектурном стиле.
Для обеспечения устойчивости наружной входной лестницы ее возводят на собственном фундаменте либо частично опирающейся на стену фундамента здания. Если для входа в дом достаточно двух-трех ступенек, то возводят низкое массивное крыльцо из бетонного монолита, достаточно устойчивое за счет обширной площади сцепления с грунтом.
При расположении входа в дом на высоте 70—120 см от уровня участка, возводят лестницу на собственном фундаменте, поддерживающем ее края перпендикулярно либо параллельно по отношению к фасадной стене дома. Таким образом создается независимая от дома инженерная конструкция, целостность которой не пострадает в случае усадки здания. Жесткое закрепление лестничной площадки в стене дома анкерами может привести к растрескиванию лестницы при усадке, причем, чем выше лестница, тем больше трещин может появиться.
По габаритам к наружным лестницам предъявляются практически те же требования, гарантирующие комфорт эксплуатации, что и к внутренним: проступь глубиной 29—33 см, подступенок высотой 15—17 см, уклон ступеней для обеспечения стока воды 1—2%. Оптимальная ширина ступеней наружной лестницы — не менее 80-ти см, а ширину верхней лестничной площадки проектируют таким образом, чтобы расстояние от дверного полотна до каждого ее края было не менее 50-ти см. Размеры минимум одной лестницы, ведущей в дом, должны обеспечивать перемещение по ней крупногабаритных предметов с размерами 200х180х60см.
Материалы для изготовления наружных лестниц
Учитывая, что климатические условия эксплуатации уличных лестниц не всегда благоприятны, а нередко и экстремальны, материалы для их изготовления должны отвечать ряду требований:
- прочность;
- долговечность;
- устойчивость к воздействию повышенной влажности и перепадам температуры.
Чаще всего экстерьерные и садовые лестницы в малоэтажном строительстве сооружают из бетона, кирпича, натурального камня, металла и реже — из дерева.
Деревянные наружные лестницы
Несмотря на то, что деревянные лестницы далеко не идеальны для наружной эксплуатации, они достаточно популярны в малоэтажном строительстве и ландшафтном дизайне. В первую очередь, это самый дешевый вариант обустройства входа на крыльцо, террасу или в беседку, а изящные формы, точеные элегантные балясины, идеально отполированные поручни лестниц и резные ограждения и наличники из дерева способны превратить обычный сруб, а нередко и каменный дом, в сказочный терем.
По сравнению с другими материалами древесина требует более кропотливого ухода. Для изготовления наружных лестниц следует выбирать древесину с высокой плотностью — дуб, лиственницу, экзотические венге, палисандр, ротанг, бамбук, — которую для предотвращения гниения надо обработать антисептиком и покрыть водостойким лаком.
Наружные лестницы из металла
Пожалуй, металл самый популярный материал для изготовления уличных лестниц самого разного назначения: от изысканных кованых парадных до простых эвакуационных. В зависимости от назначения металлические внешние лестницы делают из профиля и стального листа, нержавеющей стали, чугуна.
Технологические свойства металла позволяют воплощать в нем любые дизайнерские идеи, а марши современных металлических лестниц обретают самые разные формы:
- прямые;
- винтовые;
- эллиптические;
- изогнутого профиля.
Современные методы сварки позволяют создавать прочные и красивые ограждения и поручни лестницы из отполированной до зеркального блеска нержавеющей стали или мягко мерцающей латуни, делая их удобными в пользовании, ажурными и легкими по восприятию.
Каменные наружные лестницы
К этой обширной группе относятся и роскошные дорогие лестницы из благородного мрамора и гранита, украшающие вход в респектабельный коттедж, ресторан, отель или представительство компании, и слегка брутальные лесенки и переходы в ландшафтном дизайне.
Стоимость монолитных каменных лестниц достаточно высока и не всем доступна. Намного шире распространен альтернативный вариант — строительство лестницы из бетона, железобетона, шлакоблочной либо кирпичной кладки или даже металла и облицовка ее ступеней керамогранитом, кафельной или клинкерной плиткой, облицовочными плитами из натурального или искусственного камня.
Облицовка ступеней наружных лестниц
Для облицовки ступеней наружной лестницы подходят плиты из камня, керамогранита или других материалов толщиной не менее 30 мм, а для подступенок можно использовать плиты толщиной от 20 мм. Если при строительстве лестницы из бетона, кирпича или металла не был обеспечен необходимый уклон 1—2%, разуклонку выполняют обычным цементным раствором.
Укладку облицовочного материала на ступени выполняют таким образом, чтобы поверх подступенка образовался выступ шириной не больше 25—30 мм, который скроет место стыка подступенка и накладки, а лестница будет выглядеть монолитной.
Важно знать:
При использовании для отделки ступеней накладок толщиной менее 30 мм, выступы над подступенком могут легко откалываться — проблема особенно актуальна при облицовке металлического каркаса лестницы.
Лестница, ступени которой облицованы плитой толще 30 мм, выглядит респектабельнее.
Чтобы лестница не была слишком скользкой, для ее облицовки следует выбирать каменные плиты, обработанные пескоструйным аппаратом, с шершавой либо рифленой поверхностью. На гладкие полированные ступени можно наклеить на расстоянии 20-30 мм от края резиновые или металлические специальные накладки с фрезерованными бороздами.

Экстерьерные лестницы крыльца, в отличие от внутренних интерьерных, регулярно подвергаются агрессивному воздействию внешней среды, а поэтому нуждаются в дополнительном конструктивном усилении, гидроизоляции и защите от перепадов температуры. Чтобы предотвратить возникновение разрушительного мостика холода в месте примыкания крыльца к стене дома и образования наледи на ступенях, лестничную конструкцию утепляют жесткими водонепроницаемыми плитами экструдированного пенополистирола или оснащают ступени электрической системой снеготаяния.
