Рабочий орган обратного клапана совершает возвратно-поступательные движения в золотниковой камере. Тарелки скользят по штоку золотника. Поток распределяется по каналу, который имеет постоянное поперечное сечение. Вода равномерно омывает запирающий орган со всех сторон.
Если напор потока превышает сопротивление пружины, то подвижная часть клапана открывает зазор для прохода воды в заданном направлении. При выравнивании избыточного давления до и после защитного устройства, или превышении заданного давления после клапана пружина перемещает тарелки в седло.

Для монтажа обратных клапанов в трубной разводке из пропиленовых труб применяют контактную тепловую сварку.

Правила установки обратного клапана на воду
Защитную арматуру применяют в автономных системах водоснабжения, внутридомовых сетях водопровода в многоквартирных домах, с раздельной централизованной подачей холодной и горячей воды. Обратные клапаны устанавливают на всасывающей линии поверхностных и глубинных насосов, перед счетчиками воды, бойлерами, емкостными водонагревателями.
Пружинные клапаны обратного давления воды не имеют трущихся поверхностей, поэтому их можно устанавливать в любом положении (вертикально, горизонтально или наклонно). Стрелка на корпусе изделия указывает направление движения среды, ее вектор должен совпадать с монтажным положением защитной арматуры.
