Забор из природного камня — это очень красиво, надежно, впечатляюще, но, к сожалению, не всегда доступно по цене. Конечно, проходя мимо такого забора, невольно замедляешь шаг и рассматриваешь причудливый узор камня. Но для того чтобы обустроить собственный участок подобным шедевром человеческой фантазии и рук, надо вложить значительные денежные средства и немало физической силы и терпения.
Материалом для строительства заборов из камня может служить много пород, которые имеют свои особенности и характер:
- Забор из булыжника. Самый подходящий альтернативный вариант по соотношению цены и прочности. В природе самым распространенным цветом является серый, но довольно часто можно увидеть булыжник коричневых оттенков;
- Известняк. Хорошо поддается обработке и имеет красивые золотисто-песочные оттенки. Прочный и долговечный природный материал;
- Галька. Имеет довольно мелкую фракцию, поэтому в строительстве заборов не очень популярна;
- Песчаник, Природный цвет этого камня — во множестве оттенков, от желтого до коричневого, серого и зеленоватого. Не поддается пагубному влиянию плохих погодных условий и резкой смены температурного режима;
Устройство ограды из песчаника - Мрамор. Самый прочный камень, и ценится за легкость в обработке и долговечность. Забор из мраморного бута практически не имеет срока годности, он может простоять века.
Что такое бут и плитняк
В зависимости от формы этих строительных материалов, которые зависят от способа добычи и свойств, камень делится на бут и плитняк. В чем же разница между ними?
Бут — это природный камень самой разной формы из различных пород. В продаже можно встретить бут из мрамора или из булыжника. Самым практичным и удобным размером для постройки заборов из камня считается фракция 200–400 мм. В зависимости от формы бута выбирают вид кладки будущего забора.

Плитняк — его еще называют диким камнем, пластушкой — имеет плоскую квадратную или прямоугольную форму. Обычно его высота не превышает 15 см. Построить самостоятельно забор из такого камня достаточно сложно, так как его надо тщательно сортировать по размеру.
Как правильно сделать забор из камня
Долговечность и прочность каменного забора зависит не только от выбора породы, но и от того, насколько правильно и качественно будут произведены строительные работы.
Подбор строительного материала
Для того чтобы построенный своими руками забор имел красивый вид, приобретенный для этой цели камень надо отсортировать по цвету и размерам. Если цвет материала неоднородный, стоит заранее продумать, как выгоднее использовать этот нюанс.
Пошаговая инструкция по подготовке камня к кладке
Самый красивый камень с правильным углом отбирают для столбов, так как их строительство является самым ответственным и кропотливым этапом. Затем на лицевую сторону забора отбирается камень с одной обязательно ровной стороной.
Если булыжник имеет округлую форму, его раскалывают кувалдой. От жесткого удара камень раскалывается на несколько частей с ровной поверхностью одной стороны. Все оставшиеся камни будут использоваться с внутренней стороны кладки.
Очень удобным для строительства заборов является доломит, который обычно имеет прямоугольную форму. Он несколько уступает по прочности, но в качестве обычного забора, а не фортификационного сооружения он будет долго и верно служить многие годы.
Крепкий фундамент — залог надежности ограды
Забор из камня отличается массивностью и имеет большой вес. Поэтому его строительство начинается с обустройства надежной опоры — фундамента. Он должен быть целостным на протяжении всей длины забора, даже на месте калитки и ворот.
- Первым этапом будет тщательная планировка и разметка линии забора. По углам забиваются колышки, между которыми туго натягивается шнур, который будет служить меткой. Затем отмечаются места будущих столбов. Расстояние между ними не должно превышать трех метров.
- Вначале надо выкопать ямы для столбов, глубина которых должна быть на уровне промерзания грунта. Самым подходящим считается столб 40/40 см. Одновременно копается траншея для пролетов забора. Ширина фундамента зависит от размеров забора, но не должна превышать ширину столбов. Глубина фундамента допускается около 50 см.
- Готовая траншея под фундамент бетонируется стандартным методом, при этом не стоит забывать про армирование.
Процесс заливки бетоном фундамента под забор из камня
Для этого используют металлический прут или уголок. В местах будущих столбов забивается труба, уголок или толстый швеллер, который будет служить укрепляющим элементом при их возведении.
Строительство столбов
- Между угловыми столбами закрепляют шнур, который будет служить разметкой. Затем намечаются размеры будущего столба, выкладывается первый угловой камень. Необходимо следить за правильностью угла. После того как первый угол столба выложен строго вертикально, аналогичным способом выкладываются три остальных.
- Пробелы и пустоты между камнями заполняются раствором, но слишком большие можно закрыть камнем подходящего размера. Швы плотно заполняются цементным раствором. После того как раствор немного схватится, заполняются пустоты посредине столба.
- Второй ряд выкладывается на схватившийся первый. Каждый последующий ряд кладки обязательно должен иметь перевязку швов.

Возводим пролеты забора
На готовый фундамент надо выставить опалубок, который будет служить ограничителем при возведении забора. С ним строить гораздо легче и быстрее. Он представляет собой деревянный каркас, величина которого соответствуют размеру ширины стены забора.
Без опалубки строить сложнее, но возможно. Для этого отмечается ширина пролета забора на фундаменте и выкладывается ровным слоем цементный раствор. Сначала плоской стороной наружу выкладывается крайний камень от столба с одной и другой стороны. Их вертикальность и горизонтальность строго проверяется.
После этого выкладываются аналогично камни с противоположной стороны пролета. Между столбами на ширину пролета натягиваются два параллельных шнура, ровняясь на которые можно контролировать правильность кладки.
Когда весь первый ряд будет выложен, все пустоты заполняются цементным раствором. Второй и последующие ряды строятся только после полного застывания цементного раствора предыдущего ряда. Необходимо стараться, чтобы цемент не попадал на лицевую сторону кладки.
В случае загрязнений кладку стены надо почистить щеткой после схватывания цемента в кладке. Не стоит забывать делать расшивку швов. Так кладка приобретает более красивый вид.
В цементный раствор можно добавить небольшое количество красящего вещества, чтобы цемент соответствовал цвету выбранного камня.
Когда строительство забора своими руками приблизится к концу, надо подумать про то, чем укрыть верх столбов и самих пролетов каменного забора. Ведь под воздействием атмосферных осадков и ветра кладка со временем может начать разрушаться.
Для этих целей предлагаются специальные каменные крышки, которые выкладываются сверху. Можно также соорудить своими руками красивые колпаки из жести и обработать их антикоррозийным покрытием. Забор из натурального камня, построенный своими руками по всем правилам, будет служить долгие годы, радуя прохожих своей красотой и подчеркивая статус и трудолюбие своего хозяина.
