Плетеный забор из досок, или «австрийская плетенка» — привлекательная и оригинальная разновидность забора из дерева. По технологии такая изгородь схожа с классическим плетением из веток. Для работы используются строганные доски, которые могут располагаться горизонтально и вертикально.Такой вид плетеного забора выполняет не только декоративную функцию: это также полноценная ограда для защиты участка, которую несложно возвести своими руками.

Плетеная изгородь из деревянных досок имеет немало достоинств:
- Ограда очень просто монтируется своими руками, не требует специальных знаний и опыта;
- Натуральные материалы, используемые при установке, обеспечивают экологическую чистоту и безопасность;
Вариант устройства плетенки из досок и металлических труб - Цены на строганую доску весьма демократичны;
- У плетеной деревянной ограды интересный и необычный внешний вид, забор выглядит намного дороже своей истинной стоимости;
- Для строительства можно использовать старые, но еще прочные доски;
- Обеспечивает приватность и защиту от проникновения на территорию участка;
- Забор скрывает от посторонних глаз, но при этом пропускает свет и воздух, что хорошо для растений на участке и добрых отношений с соседями;
- Очень быстрый монтаж: в день своими руками можно сделать 12–15 м изгороди.
К недостаткам забора из дерева относят непродолжительный срок службы — 7–10 лет.

Хотя этот показатель зависит от многих факторов: климата, региона, особенности грунта и воздействия условий среды. При хорошем и своевременном уходе за деревянным забором срок его службы можно увеличить в два раза.

Виды забора из плетеной доски
- Ограды до одного метра используются в качестве декоративного заборчика своими руками внутри участка, чаще всего для ограждения растений и создания бордюров;
- Метровый забор используется для зонирования территории дома или дачи;
- Выше одного метра — надежная изгородь с полноценными защитными функциями.
Необходимые материалы и инструменты
- Материал для плетения. В первую очередь для плетения понадобятся доски: длиной в 3 м, толщиной — 20 мм и произвольной шириной. Посчитать их нужное количество не составит труда: это будет зависеть от высоты и протяженности изгороди. Доска для плетения подойдет любая, главное условие — достаточная гибкость. Но самым презентабельным вариантом все же является строганая доска, материал прочный и неприхотливый, с высокими эксплуатационными характеристиками и продолжительным сроком службы.
- Опоры. Можно использовать столбы из дерева и металла или более массивные из опоры из бетона или кирпича. Для тяжелых столбов нужен основательный фундамент.
- Стойки и поперечины для каркаса. Могут использоваться неширокие доски или брус. Для горизонтального плетения устанавливаются вертикальные стойки. Для вертикального — горизонтальные поперечные лаги.
- Песок, цемент, щебень. Понадобятся для приготовления раствора, бетонирования опор и обустройства дренажной системы.
- Бур или лопата. В зависимости от выбора опор ямы под столбы бурятся или выкапываются своими руками.
- Гвозди и саморезы, подходящие для древесины.
- Уровень или отвес. Понадобятся для корректировки ровного расположения забора.
- Средства для защитной обработки древесины.
Подготовка материала и разметка территории
- Перед плетением следует хорошо обработать доски грунтовкой и антисептиком от грибковых поражений и защиты от насекомых;
- Если забор планируется красить, то можно это сделать до монтажных работ;
- Перед установкой изгороди следует определиться с расположением столбов: шаг между ними должен быть не больше 3 м. Если в качестве опор будет использоваться тонкий брус, длина пролета сокращается до 2 м;

Монтаж столбов
Сделать изгородь из досок своими руками совсем несложно, самым трудоемким будет монтаж столбов забора. Опоры для плетеного дощатого забора могут быть любыми. Плетенка в сочетании с кирпичом и камнем смотрится привлекательно и дорого, но такие тяжелые опоры нуждаются в надежном основании.
Если устанавливать деревянные или металлические столбы, фундамент заливать необязательно.
Однако конструкция из досок имеет немалый вес и парусность, поэтому опоры обязательно бетонируются.
Деревянные столбы
- Самыми долговечными считаются столбы из сосны и лиственницы. «Вечным» признан дуб, но его стоимость очень высока. Деревянные столбы опускаются в землю не меньше, чем на треть своей высоты.
Так выглядит секция плетенки со столбами из дерева - Нижнюю часть опоры, которая будет находиться под землей, обязательно защищают пропиткой на основе битума. Состав лучше нанести в два слоя, каждый из которых должен хорошо затвердеть. Проводить такую обработку нужно в сухую погоду. Наземную часть опоры покрывают специальным лаком, защищающим от воды, ультрафиолета и грибка. Верхушку срезают под углом: это не даст влаге задерживаться на торце.
- Выкапываются ямы больше диаметра столба примерно на 20 см. На дно засыпается щебень. На участках, подверженных затоплению и скапливанию воды, столб оборачивают рубероидом.
- Опоры устанавливают в ямы и корректируют вертикальность уровнем. Выставляют высоту, ориентируясь по натянутой веревке, при необходимости подсыпают в ямы щебень.
- После установки столбов яма засыпается щебнем, битым кирпичом, землей. Хорошо утрамбовывается через каждые 30 см. Оставшийся незаполненный отрезок около 20–30 см заполняют бетоном и снова хорошо трамбуют.

Металлические столбы
- Для защиты от коррозии столбы из металла грунтуют и окрашивают. Верхнюю их часть закрывают заглушками;
- Выкапывается яма глубиной в 1–1,2 м и диаметром 20–25 см;
- Устанавливается столб, выравнивается по вертикали и высоте;
- Яма на треть заполняется послойно песком и щебнем и трамбуется;
- Оставшуюся часть скважины бетонируют.
Крепление ограничителей для плетенки из досок
Между уровнем земли и нижней частью плетенки из досок оставляют зазор 15–20 см. Чтобы доски фиксировались на этой высоте, закрепляются опорные ограничители. На деревянные опоры прибивается брус, на металлические приваривается стальной уголок.
Установка плетеного забора из досок
- В зависимости от того, каким будет расположение досок в пролете, устанавливаются одна или две неширокие доски или брус: вертикально при горизонтальном плетении и горизонтально при вертикальной установке досок.
- Горизонтальное плетение начинают с установки стоек из бруса или доски. Стойки устанавливают так, чтобы пролет был поделен на равные части. Плетение начинается сверху. Доска цепляется одним краем за опорный столб, огибает первую стойку, проходит под второй и другим концом опирается на соседний столб. Доска в месте соприкосновения с опорами и стойками закрепляется саморезами для надежности. Хотя вся конструкция при правильных расчетах прекрасно удерживается благодаря распирающей силе. Последующие доски надеваются на каркас в шахматном порядке,примерно как в заборе Шахматка: если предыдущая доска изогнута с тыльной стороны опоры, то следующая устанавливается так с лицевой стороны. Последнюю доску сверху можно прибить с лицевой стороны пролета без плетения.
- При вертикальном плетении две доски каркаса закрепляются на столбы строго горизонтально. Еще одну доску прибивают на самом верху. Гибкие доски, напиленные по размеру, оплетают вокруг поперечных лаг аналогично горизонтальному плетению. Начинают работу от столба.
Финишная отделка плетеного забора из досок
После установки изгородь необходимо покрасить или покрыть лаком. Если доски не были покрыты защитной грунтовкой, то следует сделать это перед покраской и дать ограде просохнуть. После можно нанести защитно-декоративный слой лака, олифы, эмали и прочих покрытий, подходящих для дерева и наружных работ.
Плетеный деревянный забор способен прослужить не один десяток лет, если не забывать про несложный, но обязательный уход за ним. Защитный слой рекомендовано обновлять каждые 2-3 года.
