Разновидности и материалы
Декоративные камни бывают разного происхождения и материала:
Натуральные – наиболее дорогой вид отделки, использующий такие образцы как гранит, базальт, мрамор. С помощью такого оформления сохраняется природный узор и аутентичность камня.
Искусственные – более распространены за счет доступной цены. Камни такого происхождения могут иметь самые причудливые цвета, вкрапления, дополнительное оформление и новые свойства по сравнению с натуральными.
Основные материалы для изготовления искусственных камней — это гипс и цемент, которые обладают влагоустойчивостью, небольшим весом, прочностью и низкой ценой.
Гипс — подобные искусственные камни используются преимущественно для отделки гипсокартонных стен за счет их легкости. Но при этом гипс очень хрупкий и требует бережного отношения при использовании и укладке.
Цемент — используется для отделки твердых стен с жестким креплением. Имеют больший вес и прочность, а также неприхотливы в повседневном пользовании и уходе. Цементные камни изготавливаются в разных формах, цветах и размерах. Они имеют высокую влагоустойчивость.
Минусы декоративных камней
У каменной отделки, как натуральной, так и искусственной, есть ряд минусов, которые не позволят назвать материал лучшим для прихожей.
Натуральные камни
Стоимость отделки из натуральных камней превышает 1500 за квадратный метр без учета самих работ. Такой материал очень холодный и твердый, но при этом хрупкий. Например, если уронить на мраморный пол тяжелый предмет, то с большей вероятностью на нем останутся царапины или сколы. К тому же натуральный камень очень холодный, поэтому дополнительно под него укладывается теплый пол. Последним недостатком натурального камня является спонтанная способность к выбросу радиации.
Искусственные камни
Отделка из искусственного камня обойдется хозяину квартиры дешевле, но при этом она не будет такой долговечной. Искусственный камень из гипса нельзя использовать для отделки пола. Также материал обладает высокой гигроскопичностью, что при высокой влажности приводит к деформации покрытия и потере первоначальных свойств. Гипс – очень мягкий материал, который легко отколоть или глубоко поцарапать.
Что касается цементных камней, то они очень холодные, выглядят не натурально, их верхний окрашенный слой легко повредить или поцарапать.
