При монтаже потолочных плинтусов, вам, так или иначе, потребуется подрезать углы. Для этого можно использовать канцелярский нож. Но лучше всего приобретите специальное устройство – стусло с ножовкой.
Процесс работы по приклеиванию молдинга к потолку так же должен проходить в несколько этапов:
Перед тем как начать процесс монтажа плинтуса, необходимо произвести грунтовочные работы. Покройте поверхность стены и потолка в районе предполагаемого крепления молдинга грунтовкой. Лучше всего использовать специально предназначенный для этих работ состав;
Далее, подготавливаем клеящий состав. Здесь можно использовать как сухие смеси, так и некоторые виды хорошего клея, например, жидкие гвозди;
Приступаем к непосредственному монтажу плинтусов. Наносим клей на специально предназначенные для этого площадки молдинга. Прислоняем к стене и немного надавливаем для того, чтобы вышел лишний клеящий состав. Его необходимо сразу удалить. После, оставляем плинтус на некоторое время. Если вдруг остались щели, их необходимо заделать шпатлевкой или герметиком.
Следует отметить, что монтаж молдинга должен начинаться от угла комнаты. Лучше всего, для начала осуществить приклеивание всех важных узлов, а затем приступать к фиксации прямых элементов.
