Как уже отмечалось выше, соорудить такую «старинную» изгородь своими руками довольно нетрудно, и это не связано ни с какими дополнительными сложностями.
Для возведения подобной ограды потребуется:
Перед тем как приступать непосредственно к самому процессу строительства ограждения, необходимо тщательно обработать все используемые в процессе деревянные дощечки, из которых впоследствии будет сооружена ваша оригинальная изгородь. 
Дощечки потребуется должным образом тщательно отшлифовать и аккуратно нанести на них специальный состав для предотвращения появления всевозможных грибков, а также с целью защитить древесину от нежелательного воздействия палящих солнечных лучей и излишней влаги в виде дождя и снежных заносов.
После этого в каждом пролете такой изгороди устанавливается по две вертикальные дощечки. С ними и будут сплетаться в дальнейшем горизонтальные планки. Одна вертикальная доска располагается с внешней стороны изгороди, а вторая с внутренней.
Подобная садовая ограда является, как правило, двухсторонней, ее внешняя и внутренняя стороны смотрятся при этом совершенно одинаково. 
Переплетение ведут таким образом, чтобы каждая планочка прогибалась с обеих своих сторон!
Также следует уточнить, что для облегчения своей задачи, вначале можно сделать специальные пазики в вертикальных столбах, в которые потом будут просовываться горизонтальные планки.
Закреплять доски на начальном этапе можно и при помощи гвоздей, и методом склеивания. Необходимо отметить, что в дальнейшем подобное дополнительное закрепление больше уже не потребуется. Дощечки будут держаться благодаря собственному весу и системе их плетения.
Уход
Ухаживать за такой загородной изгородью довольно нетрудно, но при этом делать это необходимо будет обязательно. Правильное обслуживание способно надолго продлить срок службы столь симпатичной ограды.
Для надежной защиты от внешних повреждений, как правило, используют:
