Обыватель не знает, насколько важна изоляция проводов. Оболочки не только защищают человека от поражения тока и не дают жиле заржаветь. Разные слои кабельной продукции уберегают её от внешних электромагнитных влияний, механических повреждений, переломов в местах изгиба, нагрузок на сжатие и растяжение, горения. От качества изоляции во многом зависит цена проводника, поэтому под каждую сферу использования подбирают изделия с соответствующей защитой.
О видах изоляции важно знать даже обывателю — чтобы при создании домашней сети понимать, для чего проектировщик требует покупать те или иные изделия. В некоторых случаях нужно самостоятельно создать простую оболочку — для этого есть изоляционные материалы.
Типы заводской изоляции
Разные виды изоляции проводов отличаются дуг от друга по материалу изготовления. В зависимости от него, защита обладает теми или иными свойствами, уберегает жилу от разных негативных влияний: механических повреждений, нагрузок на растяжение или сжатие, электромагнитных волн или паразитных токов, влаги, пыли, грызунов.
Изоляторы делают из следующих материалов:
Природных или синтетических эластомеров (резины). Их главное преимущество — гибкость. Резиновые изоляторы защищают жилу кабеля на трассах с большим количеством поворотов. Недостаток оболочек — в неустойчивости к агрессивной химии, термическим перепадам. Со временем они разрушаются. Поэтому наружную изоляцию из эластомеров не делают.
Полиэтилен высокого или низкого давления (ПВД и ПНД) устойчив к влиянию химически активных веществ, в том числе — нефтепродуктам. Не применим к проводам, которые прокладывают в условиях повышенных температур, например, в саунах.
Вулканизированный полиэтилен не боится термических перепадов, не меняет своих свойств при воздействии высоких температур.
Поливинилхлоридная изоляция жил кабеля применяется в качестве внешней и внутренней оболочки. Отличается низкой стоимостью, гибкостью. Путем добавления определенных веществ в состав ПВХ создают негорючие материалы, а также оболочки, которые не дымят при пожаре. Если в маркировке кабеля есть обозначения «нг» или «нг-LS» – внешняя оболочка сделана из поливинилхлорида.
Бумага, пропитанная специальными составами. Такая изоляция кабеля защищает от утечек тока, электромагнитных влияний. Применяется в информационных и силовых сетях.
Фторпластовая изоляция провода — самая надежная. Но ввиду сложности её создания кабели с подобной защитой стоят дороже других.
Свинец, сталь — металлы, из которых делают броню. Она предназначена для защиты от механических влияний. Используется в высоковольтных кабелях, которые применяют в подземных линиях. В ЛЭП брони не должно быть — она неустойчива к нагрузкам на растяжение.
Медь, алюминиевая фольга. Эти материалы нужны для экранировки — изоляции кабелей и проводов от внешних электромагнитных импульсов. Применяются в сетях, передающих информацию — внешние помехи могут значительно исказить сигнал. Из меди делают специальные сетки, фольгу наматывают сплошным отрезком или спиралью. При необходимости можно сделать наружную экранировку — к этому часто прибегают радиолюбители, музыканты, звукооператоры.
Вся информация об изоляции кабеля есть в его маркировке. Там указывается, какой тип оболочек применен, от чего защищен проводник. Поэтому, если приходится иметь дело с выбором изделий, нужно знать, как расшифровываются их названия.
Изолирование проводов — выбор материалов и порядок работы
При монтаже электропроводки важно знать, как правильно изолировать провода. Некоторые оболочки создаются временно. Например, во время монтажа люстры, выводят ноль и фазу, концы обматывают изолентой в целях безопасности. Бывают случаи, когда нужна долговечная изоляция кабелей. Тогда обходятся без изоленты — используют более надежные материалы.
Главное — безопасность
Перед тем как заизолировать провод, нужно убедиться, что соблюдены все правила техники безопасности:
Кабели должны быть отключены от сети.
Даже если вы лично выкручивали пробки или выключали автоматы – проверьте наличие напряжения с помощью индикатора;
Убедитесь, что подобраны подходящие материалы для изоляции. Если неправильно выбрать изделия, в процессе эксплуатации произойдет КЗ, которое может привести к пожару.
Кабели, прокладываемые под землей или на открытом воздухе, должны быть цельными — соединения допускаются только в герметичных распаячных коробках.
Материалы
На сегодняшний день можно выделить следующие виды изоляции кабелей:
ПВХ изолента. Устойчива к влаге, подходит для временной изоляции проводов. Иногда применяется для мелкого ремонта, например, когда нужно заизолировать шнур от зарядки.
ХБ изолента считается более качественным изолятором, чем поливинилхлоридный аналог. Устойчива к влаге, химическим веществам. Используется не только в домашних электросетях, но и в транспортных.
Термоусадочная трубка (ТУТ) — оболочка, которая надевается на участок, который нужно заизолировать. Под воздействием высокой температуры сжимается, создавая герметичное соединение. Если ищете, чем изолировать провода на долгий срок — это лучший вариант.
СИЗ-колпачки. Используются для изоляции и соединения проводов между собой. Их часто применяют при создании блоков розеток.
Изоляция для проводов и кабелей подбирается в зависимости от места и цели её применения. Можно ли заизолировать провода скотчем? Нет — этот материал не предназначен для подобных целей.
Выбираем термоусадку
С изолентой все понятно – есть два типа изделий из разных материалов. Нужно определиться только с цветом. А термоусадочные трубки – относительно новый для нашего рынка товар. Поэтому нужно знать о том, как правильно подобрать и как пользоваться электроизоляционным материалом.
Главный параметр — размеры до и после сжатия. Производители указывают их двумя способами:
Диаметр до сжатия/диаметр после сжатия, например 10/5 мм.
Диаметр до сжатия/коэффициент усадки. Например, 10/2:1 мм. Подобное обозначение говорит, во сколько раз сожмется трубка после обработки. В примере она станет вдвое уже.
Главное, чтобы после сжатия трубка была меньше, чем диаметр провода. Тогда удастся создать герметичное соединение.
Другие параметры ТУТ:
Клеевой слой — при нагревании состав расплавляется, заполняя все полости. Такие трубки лучше защищают от влаги и пыли.
Устойчивость к внешним воздействиям. Термоусадки делают из разных материалов, способных противостоять воздействию нефтепродуктов, ультрафиолета, перепадов температур. Например, для электропроводки автомобиля нужны маслобензостойкие изделия.
Цвет. Трубками разного цвета можно обозначать разные типы электрических проводов, например, ноль и фазу.
Порядок работы с разными материалами
Как изолировать провода изолентой:
все кабели надежно скрутить между собой;
если жил много, а изоляция делается на долгое время, лучше спаять сердцевины.
Намотать изоленту в несколько слоев, отступив от каждого неизолированного края 1,5–2 сантиметра.
Неизвестно, сколько прослужит заизолированный таким образом провод. Лучше использовать более надежные способы защиты.
Изолирую провод с помощью термоусадки:
скрутить жилы между собой, при необходимости — спаять;
надеть отрезок на участок с открытыми жилами;
зажечь зажигалку и равномерно перемещать её от одного края трубки к другому;
провернуть провод и повторить предыдущее действие.
Хорошо, если используется специальная тепловая пушка, когда электрика изолируется с помощью ТУТ. Но покупать оборудование для выполнения нескольких работ — нецелесообразно. Поэтому на небольших домашних проводах можно использовать зажигалку. Предварительно нужно немного потренироваться, чтобы в работе не пострадала заводская электроизоляция.
