Рабочие характеристики, порядок приемки и другие аспекты, касающиеся данной продукции, освещены в нескольких государственных стандартах:
ГОСТ 16442-80 — стандарт, описывающий характеристики силовых кабелей с пластиковой изоляцией, в том числе данного проводника;
ГОСТ 15510-69 — допустимые условия эксплуатации проводов;
ГОСТ 22483 — электротехнические параметры жил;
ГОСТ 12.2.007.14-75 — требования к безопасности установки и эксплуатации.
Кабель ВБбШвнг — подвид провода ВБбШв. Он отличается негорючей оболочкой. Остальные характеристики аналогичны.
Расшифровка обозначения
В начале названия нет буквы «А», из чего понятно, что жила не алюминиевая, а медная. Вот полная расшифровка кабеля:
В — каждая токопроводящая жила обладает собственной поливинилхлоридной изоляцией;
Бб — есть двойная защита, созданная из стальных лент (в случае с данной продукцией, используется двухслойный штрипс из оцинкованной стали);
Шв — наружная оболочка представляет собой поливинилхлоридный шланг;
нг — проводник является негорючим.
Существует подвид провода с приставкой «–LS» (Low Smoke). Под воздействием высоких температур его оболочка практически не выделяет дыма и вредных газов. Такую продукцию рекомендовано использовать при создании электросетей в помещениях.
Кабели могут быть одно- и многожильными. Первые обозначаются, как «ож», вторые — «мн».
Основные характеристики
Данный проводник — промышленный. Он используется для передачи переменного тока частотой 50 Гц и напряжением 0,6–1 кВ (в зависимости от диаметра сечения и количества жил). Другие параметры:
Количество жил колеблется в пределах от 1 до 5.
Вес кабеля ВБбШвнг рассчитывается, исходя из 1000 м, и составляет от 347 до 11305 кг. Данный показатель очень важен. Зная вес кабеля ВБбШвнг, можно подобрать подходящую машину для транспортировки, рассчитать стоимость транзита. Иногда целесообразней покупать изделие немного дороже у местных поставщиков, чем искать его в регионах и перевозить. Вес кабеля ВБбШвнг влияет на сложность укладки — такие изделия кладут километрами, создают с их помощью магистрали местного значения.
Минимальный радиус изгиба при одножильном исполнении — 10 внешних диаметров, при многожильном — 7,5 внешних диаметров.
Важный параметр — климатическое исполнение. Оно обозначается парой литерал/цифра. Буквы говорят о применимости продукции в тех или иных зонах. Числа — о том, где именно в этих зонах можно использовать изделия. Буквенные обозначения:
М — морской умеренно-холодный климат;
О — любой климат, кроме морского;
ОМ — любой климат, включая морской;
В — универсальное исполнение.
У — умеренный климат;
ХЛ — холодный климат;
УХЛ — умеренный и холодный климат;
ТВ — тропический влажный климат;
ТС — тропический морской климат.
Значения цифр:
1 — применим на открытом воздухе;
2 — применим на открытом воздухе при условии наличия защиты от прямых солнечных лучей, т. е. можно устанавливать изделие под навесом, в дополнительной оболочке;
3 — для закрытых помещений, не оснащенных климатическим оборудованием;
4 — для закрытых помещений, оснащенных климатическим оборудованием;
5 — для помещений с повышенной относительной влажностью воздуха, не оснащенных климатическим оборудованием.

Сфера применения
Одножильные бронированные провода можно использовать для передачи постоянного тока Многожильные варианты исполнения ВБбШвнг применяют в следующих случаях:
создание магистралей в земле, туннелях, шахтах, траншеях;
прокладка по земле при условии, что провод не будет подвергаться усилиям на растяжение;
на объектах с взрывоопасностью классов B-Iб, B-Iг, В-II, В-IIа;
в воздушных ЛЭП.
Частному потребителю подобные кабели не нужны — они обладают высокими характеристиками и, соответственно, дорого стоят.

Многие компании производят данный вид провода. При заключении сделки нужно проверять сертификаты соответствия государственным стандартам и требованиям Таможенного Союза. Далее представлен список надежных, проверенных поставщиков, которые занимаются выпуском данных проводников десятки лет:

Правила приемки и список испытаний, возможные отклонения от характеристик описывают ГОСТ 24334-80, ГОСТ 15.309. В частности, проводниковая продукция испытывается на работу при номинальном и максимальном напряжении, электрическое сопротивление жил и экранировки, целостность внешних оболочек. Объем выборки для методов, предполагающих разрушение изделий, составляет 3% от партии, но не менее трех строительных длин. Неразрушающим испытаниям подвергается весь объем поставляемой продукции.
Аналоги
Импортная продукция маркируется по-другому. Проводники, соответствующие или близкие по своим характеристикам описываемой продукции, имеют следующие обозначения:
YBY-O;
YBY-J or Cu/ PVC/ STA/ PVC 0,6/1 kV.
При поиске замены проводнику обратите внимание на провода с алюминиевой жилой. Аналогичный по структуре (кроме материала изготовления сердцевины) и самый близкий по характеристикам вариант — АВБбШнг. К недостаткам алюминия, как материала изготовления проводника, относят невысокие относительно меди прочность и эластичность. Металл хуже поддается сварке, и «не прощает» ошибок при неправильных изгибах.
При выборе провода нужно располагать информацией о нагрузке создаваемой сети, силе возможных скачков, условиях применения продукции в разных частях магистрали. Целесообразно комбинировать разные типы проводников на разных участках.
