Изгородь, сооруженную из прутьев, можно использовать и как ограждение участка, и как декоративный заборчик, разграничивающий территорию на отдельные зоны.
Такая ограда очень легко устраивается своими руками при помощи подручного инструмента и практически не требует денежных трат.
Требующиеся материалы и инструменты
Для того чтобы сделать декоративное ограждение из прутьев, понадобятся:
- Деревянные колья толщиной 60–100 мм;
- Заранее заготовленный большой объем длинных прутков лозы для забора;
- Нехитрый инструмент: кувалда, небольшой топорик, молоток, нож, шило;
- Крепежные элементы: гвозди, бокорезы, мягкая проволока;
- Смола либо отработанное масло для пропитывания отесанных концов опор.
Для создания большой изгороди потребуются прутки диаметром до 3 см. Если ограждение будет выполнять лишь декоративные функции, то вполне можно обойтись прутками диаметром до 2 см. Оптимальным периодом для нарезания прутьев считается ранняя весна либо поздняя осень, перед самой зимой. Лучшими породами дерева считаются орешник, молодая поросль березы, ольха, ива.
Если возможности или желания заготовки прутков нет, их можно приобрести в специальном питомнике. Для того чтобы придать всем прутьям одинаковую гибкость, их рекомендуется на несколько часов замочить в воде. Если же прутья замочить в горячей воде или подержать их два часа на паровой бане, то они станут настолько мягкими, что согнуть их в любую сторону не составит никакого труда.
Таким образом, ограждение можно сплести, не прилагая никаких усилий, а после полного высыхания прутья вновь обретут свою жесткость и упругость. Для придания прутьям необычного цвета можно обработать их морилкой, марганцовкой или раствором железного купороса, покрыть лаком.
Плетение ограждения
Перед тем как приступить к работе, необходимо очистить ограждаемый участок и определить места, в которых необходимо вбивать колья.
Для облегчения забивания кольев следует выкопать ямки.
Процесс плетения забора из прутьев
От выбранного метода плетения прутков (горизонтального либо вертикального) будет зависеть число требующихся кольев. Колья необходимо установить как можно ровнее и забить их в грунт кувалдой. Интервал между опорами также зависит от метода плетения, но менее 30 см его делать нерационально.
Вертикально переплетенные прутки делают забор более объемным, при таком способе лучше взять более толстые жесткие прутья. Плетение по горизонтали позволяет добавить ограждению эстетичности, сделать его более декоративным, тем более подобрав какое-либо витиеватое плетение.
При вертикальном расположении прутков в изгороди между опорами следует протянуть проволоку либо прикрепить перекладины, располагающиеся горизонтально. Плетение необходимо проводить снизу вверх, прутья при этом следует вплетать более толстым концом по направлению книзу.
При плетении длинных прутков своими руками необходимо периодически менять их направление, чтобы ограждение получилось однородным по толщине.
Получающееся плетение следует регулярно подбивать молотком, чтобы после высыхания прутков изгородь не потеряла свою толщину и плотность и, следовательно, свою прочность.
Ряд, располагающийся ниже других, следует закрепить гвоздями на опоре либо прикрутить его проволокой, что поможет избежать сползания вниз всей сплетенной конструкции и касания ее поверхности земли. Точно такую же процедуру следует провести и с верхним рядом плетения. Видов плетения заборов имеется много. Приобретя небольшие навыки плетения, можно сделать своими руками из обычного ограждения настоящую изюминку участка без потери ее функционального назначения. Кроме того, сплетенное из длинных прутков лозы ограждение красиво и экологически безопасно.
