Ограды из натурального камня по праву самые прочные, некоторые ограждения и здания из камня стоят уже не одно столетие, и возможно простоят еще столько же. Можно возвести забор из камня своими руками – это очень дешево, надежно и оригинально, хотя придется вооружиться терпением и большим количеством камней.
Преимущества забора из булыжника
Говоря о булыжнике, чаще всего подразумевается округлый камень с сечением от 10 до 30 см. Разновидностей булыжников много, но чаще всего это камни пород базальт, диорит и кварцит. Этот материал широко распространен в строительстве и ландшафтном дизайне благодаря своей доступности и практичности:
- Булыжник достаточно легко раскалывается и обрабатывается. Камень хорошо скрепляется с любыми цементными растворами и может армироваться;
Различные виды кладки забора из булыжников - Стоимость его невысокая в сравнении с другими природными минералами. А если выполнить все этапы монтажа своими руками, то стоимость работ снизиться значительно;
- Прочность булыжника можно даже не ставить под сомнение, он давно доказал свою надежность и износостойкость. Например, улицы многих старинных городов вымощены именно булыжником;
- Камень не боится воды, устойчив к критическим температурам;
- Забор из каменной кладки – это оригинально и привлекательно. При должном старании ограждение станет неповторимым творением и украшением ландшафта всего участка.
Основные нюансы при строительстве
Перед началом работ следует подготовить материал и определиться с конструкцией забора и фундамента. Камень для забора можно собрать самостоятельно на полях, однако следует понимать, что на цельный забор его потребуется очень много.
Возведение комбинированного забора из булыжников и дерева
Если в регионе есть возможность заказать такой материал недорого, то следует этим воспользоваться, булыжника может потребоваться до нескольких тонн.
Подготовка булыжника
- Забор из серого булыжника – довольно мрачное зрелище. Поэтому следует постараться подобрать камни, отличающиеся от серой окраски. Лучшие камни отсортировываются для столбов, чуть хуже для лицевой стороны ограждения и оставшийся материал для внутренней стороны.
- Очистка. Камень для работы нужен чистый – это трудоемкий и важный процесс. Если не помыть материал адгезия с цементным составом будет очень слабая или никакая.
- Раскалывание. Круглые камни смотрятся в ограждении неэффектно и плохо прилегают друг к другу. Крупные округлые камни раскалываются ребром кувалды для получения более плоского и удобного в укладке материала. Осуществляя процесс раскалывания своими руками, следует позаботиться о технике безопасности: специальной одежде, защите для глаз и рук. Выполнять работу следует вдали от людей и предметов, которые могут пострадать от отлетающих фрагментов камней.
Фундамент для забора
Ограждение из камня нуждается в надежном фундаменте ленточного типа. Он может быть выполнен из бетона, на основе железобетонных блоков, кирпича или камня. При устройстве фундамента своими руками следует придерживаться следующих правил:
- Перед работой производится разметка территории с помощью бечевки и колышков. Между угловыми столбами протягивается веревка, колышки забиваются в местах установки столбов.
- Фундамент по ширине должен быть больше, нежели сам забор, примерно на 15 см.
- Глубина залегания фундамента зависит от линии промерзания грунта в среднем это 1,2 – 1,5 м.
- Оптимальное расстояние между столбами должно быть 2,5 м, максимальное не более 3 м. Чтобы точно определить расстояние между опорами, расстояние между угловыми столбами делится на примерную длину прогона и вычитается ширина столбов.
- Ямы под столбы должны быть больше ширины фундамента.
Схема для постройки фундамента под столбы каменного забора - На дне обустраивается песчано-гравийная подушка, которая проливается водой и уплотняется. Толщина слоя 10 — 15 см.
- Дно траншеи армируется стальным каркасом из прутьев. Возможно использование подручных материалов для армирования, например, старые водопроводные трубы.
- В местах установки столбов забиваются стальные трубы.
- Траншея бетонируется до уровня грунта, трамбуется и оставляется для упрочнения на несколько суток.
Монтаж столбов
После обустройства фундамента можно приступать к монтажу каменных столбов:
- Для изготовления столба своими руками нужно сделать два квадратных короба из досок.
- Короб-опалубка устанавливается на месте будущего столба, стальная труба располагается точно по центру.
Так выглядит короб опалубка для постройки заборных столбов - Булыжник укладывается в опалубку с максимальной подгонкой камней и колотой стороной плотно к бортам короба.
- Уложенные камни заливаются бетоном с мелким камнем и оставляются для схватывания.
- Удаляется нижний короб и устанавливается поверх верхней опалубки, укладывается следующая партия камней.
- Постепенно продвигаясь, выкладывается столб на нужную высоту.
- После снятия опалубки лицевые швы между булыжниками заполняются цементным раствором.
Раствор для каменного забора замешивается в соотношении песок и цемент – 3:1. Для эстетичности в цементную смесь можно добавит коричневый колер: на 10 ведер бетона – примерно 4 столовые ложки красящего пигмента.
Выложить каменные столбы своими руками можно и без опалубки, но это несколько сложнее, требуется опыт, кропотливая подгонка и постоянный контроль за вертикальностью опоры.
Установка пролетов из булыжника
Укладка камней для пролетов также может осуществляться методом скользящей опалубки. Удобнее всего разделить высоту забора на 3-4 части и сделать опалубку небольшой высоты.
Процесс постройки пролетов забора из камней
Плотно уложенные к стенкам опалубки булыжники заливают раствором и оставляют на сутки. После этого опалубка устанавливается выше, и действия повторяются. Пустоты между камнями заполняются раствором с помощью мастерка очень аккуратно. Нежелательно чтобы на камень попадал бетон, который окрасит его в серый цвет. После высыхания кладки следует сделать расшивку швов между камнями. Швы можно расшить глубоким и неглубоким способом.
Для работы понадобиться инструмент чистик – металлическая полоска с зубом на конце. С его помощью нужно сделать канавки необходимой глубины.
На заключительном этапе работ поверхность забора очищается жесткой стальной щеткой, воду использовать нежелательно, так как с водой цемент может окончательно проникнуть в неровности камня. Очищенный забор можно помыть губкой и водой.
Советы специалистов
Для того чтобы построить надежное ограждение из камня своими руками следует соблюдать следующие рекомендации:
- раствор для кладки камня должен быть густым;
- излишки цементного состава нужно удалять сразу же;
- сдвиг кладки в каждом ряду относительно друг друга повышает прочность конструкции;
- сортировка булыжника ускорит монтаж в дальнейшем;
- при необходимости неровную лицевую поверхность булыжника можно обработать болгаркой с кругом для камня;
- армирующая сетка, уложенная каждые несколько рядов, усилит монолитность и надежность ограждения;
- колотый камень образует более прочную кладку и легче в укладке, нежели окатыши;
- вначале укладываются крупные камни, после пустоты заполняются мелкими элементами.

Установить забор из булыжника своими руками вполне возможно при соблюдении всех рекомендаций. Терпение и неспешная работа – главный совет при монтаже ограждения из камня. Чтобы конструкция получилась прочной и долговечной бетон должен хорошо высыхать перед укладкой следующего слоя. Процесс может растянуться надолго, но в награду можно получить недорогое, красивое и практически вечное ограждение из природного материала.
