Трудно представить дизайн современного интерьера без использования потолочного плинтуса. Плинтус потолочный также называют бордюром, галтелью или пластиковой лепниной. Эта деталь является последним штрихом любого ремонта помещений.
Она выполняется в виде колонны или лепнины, служащей в целях маскировки места стыка между потолком и обоями при обычном ремонте, а также для скрытия зазора между краем стены и подвесным потолком. Подобные плинтуса изготавливаются из легкого пенопласта и полиуретана, бывают обычно светлых оттенков, стоят сравнительно недорого, бывают различных размеров – от 1, 3 метра в длину и до 8 сантиметров в ширину.
Потолочные плинтуса являются декоративным элементом и созданы для тех случаев, когда после окончания оклейки обоев и установки натяжного потолка помещение выглядит незаконченным.
Материал потолочных плинтусов
Плинтуса для потолков бывают из пенопласта, пластика, полиуретана, пенополистирола. Бывают также бордюры, изготовленные из более тяжелых материалов (гипс, дерево), однако рекомендуется для натяжных потолков выбирать материалы полегче. Ведь современные полиуретановые плинтуса визуально не отличаются от гипсовых.
При выборе самых недорогих изделий из пенопласта важно учесть тот факт, что они спустя некоторое время могут иссохнуть, образовав между состыкованными частями щель, которую придется заделывать. При покупке плинтуса важно обратить внимание на то, чтобы все детали были из одной и той же партии, не имели вмятин, царапин и других повреждений.
Размер и внешний вид
Потолочные плинтуса бывают различных размеров, с разными видами поверхности (гладкие или рельефные). Внешний вид выбирают в соответствии со стилем помещения и в зависимости от состояния стыка между потолком и стенами, который необходимо скрыть.
При установке натяжных потолков предпочтительней выбирать плинтуса с широкой стеновой частью, но в случае, когда плинтус устанавливается для декорирования помещения, можно применить и молдинг. Длина детали должна быть такой, чтобы можно было сделать минимальное количество стыков. Для этого следует предварительно измерить длину всех стен помещения.
Для больших помещений нужно выбирать детали максимальной длины (2 метра), а вот для помещений небольших размеров (например, ванная комната или туалет) экономичнее использовать плинтус размером в 1,3 метра.
Очень важно приобрести плинтус с запасом, особенно если такая работа выполняется впервые.
Для упрощения работы некоторые производители впускают специальные уголки, значительно ускоряющие работу.
Багеты для натяжных потолков
Иногда по причине скрытых в стене проводов электросети или связи либо из-за слабой штукатурки нет возможности вкрутить в стену шурупы на уровне подвесного потолка. В таких ситуациях применяют потолочный багет для натяжного потолка.
В настоящее время на рынке можно встретить багеты для натяжных потолков, изготовленные из ПВХ или алюминия. Их основное отличие заключается в том, каким способом их устанавливают. Багеты из алюминия крепятся к стене и к потолку, а багеты из ПВХ – только к стене. Помимо этого багеты, вне зависимости от материала делятся на видимые и невидимые. При использовании видимого багета некоторая его часть будет видна, выполняя декоративную функцию.
Багеты из ПВХ являются экологически чистыми, не выделяют вредных веществ в процессе эксплуатации, устойчивы к огню и достаточно хорошо переносят перепады температуры, а видимые ПВХ багеты не выгорают на солнце.
Алюминиевый багет был выпущен производителями первым. Он достаточно прочный и надежный, именно поэтому многие мастера предпочитают именно его. Однако у данного вида есть ряд недостатков:
• тяжелый вес;
• высокая стоимость;
• такой багет используется только на прямолинейных участках, так как при любом отклонении приходится разрезать его на куски;
• необходимо выполнить предварительную доработку, проделывая сквозные отверстия по месту крепления.
При установке багета необходимо в первую очередь сделать подрезку плинтуса. В одном из углов подгоняется одновременно два плинтуса. Под потолком не следует использовать никаких ножей и пилок, чтобы избежать повреждения полотна потолка.
Когда багеты подогнаны, их намазывают шпаклевкой или клеем для багетов. Клей наносят на ту часть багета, которая соприкасается со стеной. После необходимо вклеить багет в угол между потолком и стеной, хорошенько придавливая его руками, оставляя межу натяжной пленкой и багетом минимальное пространство.
Убедившись, что потолочный плинтус качественно выровнен и приклеен, следует удалить излишки клея, который выдавился из-под багета. Затем все осторожно и аккуратно поправляется пальцем.
Послу этого необходимо проверить, нет ли щелей между стеной и потолочным плинтусом. При их наличии требуется заполнить их клеем. В большинстве случаев, если клей нанесен по всей длине качественно, зазоров не образуется. Помимо удаления излишек клея следует окончательно очистить багет и прилегающую к нему стену, особенно если планируется дальнейшая покраска стен. Для этого можно взять небольшую кисть и немного воды, так как следы от клея легко размываются водой.
Подобным образом по всему периметру устанавливается потолочный плинтус. Важно очень тщательно заделать клеем стыки между потолочными плинтусами, а затем хорошо все очистить.
При желании потолочный плинтус можно покрасить. Однако покраска потолочного плинтуса является достаточно кропотливой работой с применением максимальных усилий и терпения. Ведь малейшее неверное действие может испортить все полотно натяжного потолка. В данном случае не подходит использование малярной ленты для защиты полотна, так как при ее удалении есть большая опасность разрыва полотна.
Предпочтительней всего использование обыкновенного листа бумаги (А4 или А3 формата). Такой лист бумаги легко вставить между полотном и плинтусом. Важно помнить о том, что нельзя один и тот же лист бумаги для покраски всего багета, двигая его по всему периметру помещения. Лучше заранее вставить несколько листов бумаги по всему периметру, которые нужно будет сразу же удалять по мере окрашивания потолочного плинтуса.
